Cultivated by music, sound and rhythm became his forte… Chaun was born in South Florida on May 29, 1985. Saturated with talent and charming good looks, his future was a bright one from the start. Influenced by his father, Henry Vernon, an infamous DJ and owner of reggae sound system, Sequence, music and entertainment became part of his everyday life. At the age of seven Chaun began developing his singing technique in a church choir. By age eleven he was selected to harmonize as a member of the Greater Miami Boys Choir. As his vocals urbanized he began to write, produce, and record Rhythm and Blues with eclectic quality. Being compared to Usher and Luther Vandross, he performed at talent showcases and special events such as the “Rock the Vote Concert” (sponsored by Sean “Diddy” Combs and Russell Simmons). Chaun Vernon received several special honors such as being dubbed “Future Star” by the W. P. B. (West Palm Beach) South Florida Fair and selected as a finalist in the “Reggae Song Competition” (sponsored by Comcast, High Class Promotion, and Mack-Ace Promotion).Chaun Has also opened for stars such as Ras B (From B2k), Remy Ma, Piccolo, Mowet (New singer for Pretty Ricky), Pretty Ricky, and many more. Chaun has been flown out of state to perform in Haiti, St. Kitts, He’s performed for MCC College, Barry University and many more. He has had radio play on college radio as well as many local underground radio stations and has a nice following with his brand new single “Deeper”. Chaun’s naturally, charismatic style captivates, sending shock waves of pulsating melody and rhythm through audiences. The multi-dimensional, twenty-two year old singing sensation now releases his much anticipated debut album, “First Impression”. Listeners can expect to hear floor-rattling club bangers, in-between the sheet ballads, and songs about social issues in every day life. Each track was chosen out of the many self-written and produced songs in his catalog, making his “First Impression” a lasting one.
